Bolivia, Ferdinand VI, (1746-1760), cob four reales, Potosi mint, 1751 (dated twice), assayer E, (12.8 grams), obv. arms of Leon and Castille, X51 below, rev. two crowned pillars, 4 above, 751 below, P and E, (KM.39). Usual flan, good weight and good surfaces, good fine and a scarce date, with certificate of wreck source.
From the wreck of the 'Nossa Senhora Da Luz'. See note above. This coin was sold at Public Auction November 6, 1997 by the Auction house of Castells & Castells, catalogue 84, Montevideo in Uruguay. This coin was lot 170 (No.6/12) from that sale.
