MAGNUS MAXIMUS, (A.D. 383-388), siliqua, Treveri mint, [1.176 grams], obv. Laureate bust to right of Magnus Maximus, around D N MAG MAX IMVS PF AVG, rev. Roma seated facing head to left, VIRTVS ROMANORVM, around, TRPS in exergue, (S.4201, RIC 84b). Dark tone, clipped with flan crack, nearly very fine and scarce.
