CONSTANTIUS II, (A.D. 337-361), AE centenionalis, issued 348-350 Rome mint, (4.134 grams), obv. laureate draped and cuirassed bust to right of Constantius II, around D N CONSTAN TIVS P F AVG, rev. emperor standing left on galley with Phoenix on globe, with chi-rho on banner, Victory seated in stern to left, around FEL TEMP RE PARATIO, **D* in left field, in exergue RE, (cf.S.4002, RIC 124 [R3], LRBC -). Extremely fine and very rare, officina unpublished.
