CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 210-213, Rome mint, (2.940 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG BRIT, rev. Providentia standing facing head left, holding wand over globe and sceptre, around PROVIDENTIAE DEORVM, (S.1953, RIC 227, RSC 529). Extremely fine.
