MARCUS AURELIUS AS CAESAR, (A.D. 161-180), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 160-161, (24.4 grams), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around AVRELIVS CAE SAR AVG P II F, rev. around TR POT COS II, Minerva standing to right, holding spear and resting left hand on shield, (S.-, RIC A1258, C.596). Weak on parts of obverse legend, red-brown patina, otherwise, good fine and scarce.
