Tonkin - Madagascar, Medal for the reunion of the colonies, two funnelled steamer sailing right with cannon mounted on stern castle in silver (28mm)(M.H.). Medal in silver (41mm) by Totter, for the Colonial Credit agency of the the Reunion. Good very fine; fine, the first rare (2).
The first ex Carnegie Museum of Natural History (lot 695) Collection, the second acquired in the late 1960's.
