Locally minted or Cast Coins Imitating Official Coinages of the East India Company and Miscellaneous. Two keping, imitating the E.I.C. Sumatra issue of 1783 (Pr 56) a study group of 20 ex Wodak (lot 442) also Sumatra E.I.C. issues of 1783, 1786 (2, one with blank reverse) 1787 (3), Sumatra keping 1804, both weights (Pr 21, 22). Imitation Crowned E.I.C. Balemark/ Balance and Scales, letters under bar V V in brass (pierced)(illus) cf Pr 62 and attributed to Bandjarmasin Borneo by J.P.Moquette. Fair - very fine, the last very rare (30).
The last ex Carnegie Museum of Natural History (lot 777 part) Collection, most of the others ex Wodak Collection (G.K.G. sale).
