The first few from Format, Schwer in 1984-5, the others mostly acquired in 1960's to 80's from Spink, Baldwin and London trade. The Ship and Turtle Tavern in Leadenhall Street E.C. built 1377 enlarged 1735, rebuilt 1884, closed 1919. It specialised in purveying turtles and turtle soup.
