Yorkshire, Halifax, S.H. Hamer, the reverse die for his first private token, St. John the Baptist Church, 1899, die stamped W. Hill on side (Bell A1). Extremely fine and unique.
Ex Cumbrian Collector (G.W. Spencer) (lot 157) Collection. Hamer's dies were all prepared by J.H. Restall of Birmingham. The names of the engravers are on the side of this and the following dies.
