Coins etc. countermarked for advertising or use by merchants. Two 18th century halfpenny size blanks with Spence's slogans 'Spence's Plan/Full Bellies' reverse '& Every Blessing'. 'Spence's Plan/You Rogues'/ ' & Small Farms'. 1797 cartwheel pennies (2), on the obverse 'No/Landlords/You Fools/Spence's Plan/Forever'. 'Robinson Cutler/Razor Maker' on cartwheel penny, George III penny 1806 countermarked with a die punch on the reverse in relief on a sunken circle 'Davis Wine & Brandy Merchant 46 Houndsditch London. A similar style countermark on a 1752 halfpenny (very worn) countermark good fine. T. Coulsell No.29 Queen St. Borough London outer legend Rules & Umbs. made & Repd. Whole by J.B. in centre over 1811 in a ring punch countermark on an 1806 farthing. Fair - good very fine and rare. (7)
