Nasir al-Din Artuq Arslam, (A.H. 597-637) (A.D. 1201-1239), copper dirham, pictorial type, Mardin mint, dated A.H. 599 = A.D. 1203-4, Centaur-archer running to r., crowned head facing aiming arrow to jaws of dragon, rev. six lined reverse legend (2), (A.1830, M.1047-8, S/S 38.1, Edham 66-8, BMC 429-431), others dated A.H. 606 = A.D. 1209-1210, obv. Dionysos riding a panther, rev. three lined legend and another around, (2), (A.1830, M.1051, S/S 39, Edham 74, BMC 438). Some cleaned, a few with corrosion, otherwise very good - fine, all scarce. (4)
