Annam, Posterior Li Dynasty period, Rebel General Chan Hei obv. 'Chen Kung Sun Pao' (Tran Tan Cong Bao), issued (A.D. 1512), round copper coin, 24mms, (Novak 225, TFP 2926 p.225). Fine and rare. `
The issue inscription suggests a translation of 'The Public Money of the New Tran Dynasty'. As there is no New Tran dynasty it refers to the rebel general's attempt to set up a new dynasty.
