Italy, Medieval Sicily issues from Messina mint, Tancred I (1189-1194), AE follis, obv. in Kufic 'II Re Tancredi', rev. in Latin 'REX' in centre around '+ROGERIVS', (Biaggi 1237, R3 [cat. $1500]). Very fine and extremely rare.

This small dumpy bronze coin is the rarest and most valuable of all types struck in all metals from the 11th to the mid 13th centuries.
