Phoenicia, Sidon, king 'Abd'esmun, (c.410-400 B.C.), silver sixteenth shekel, (0.73 grams), obv. wall of city with three towers, two lions in exergue, rev. Persian king to right, standing shooting bow, incuse head of goat below, all within incuse square, (S.3933, Betylon 9 [ANS MN 4, 1976], Betylon 10, (p.7, Coinage and mints of Phoenicia), BMC 14-17 [p.142]). Fine - very fine and rare.
