Syria, Kingdom of, Seleucus VI, (95-94 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.8 grams), Seleucia on the Calycadnus mint, obv. diademed head of Antiochus VII to right, fillet border, rev. Athena standing to left, holding wreath bearing Nike in hand and other hand on shield and holding a spear, palm branch to left, **[B]ASILEWS SELEUKOU to left **EPIFANOUS NIKATOROS to left, inner left field **ALEISI, (S.7092 [£450], cf.Houghton (Kraay Morkholm Essays), Group 12). Surface porosity, nearly very fine, rare.
