Sassanian King, Valkash, (484-488), silver drachm, (4.1 grams), mint RD = Ray, obv. bust to right with headress of three turrents and globe above, rev. fire altar with attendants, (cf.Sellwood Plate V, No.50, Gobl 179, M.1000). Crude style, good very fine and very scarce.
