Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy I, (323-285 B.C.), Alexandria mint, AE 16, (2.94 grams), obv. diademed head of Alexander III with horn of Ammon, rev. eagle open wings l., HP monogram before, Ptolemy II, (285-246 B.C.), AE 22 (7.965 grams), obv. Alexander III with elephant head dress, rev. eagle left, AE 16(3.66 grams), obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, rev. eagle to left with open wings, standing on thunderbolt, last two both with around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, void between legs, (cf.S.7766, 7780, 7788, Sv. 239, 416, 418, SNG Cop.59, 159, 166). Very fine - extremely fine, last has been carefully cleaned. (3)
