Syria, Kingdom of, Demetrius I, (162-150 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.45 grams), Antioch mint, issued year 161 (152/151 B.C.), obv. diademed head of Demetrius to right within laurel wreath border, rev. Tyche seated to left with leg of throne a winged monster, holds sceptre and cornucopiae, to right **BASILEWS, to left **DHMHTRIOU, and **SWTHROS, monograms to far left of **PA over ANT, A**X*P in exergue, (S.7015, SMA Newell 118, BMC 12). Very fine.
