Sicily, Leontini, (c.425 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.1 grams), obv. laureate head of Apollo to left, dotted border, rev. head of lion to left, around three barley grains and olive leaf behind, around **LEONTINON, (cf.S.833, SNG ANS 256-7 same dies). Heavy surface scratches on both sides, surface oxidation, otherwise good very fine and rare.
