FRANCE, Francis I, (1515-1547), ecu d'or du dauphine, 6th type, issued 1528-1538, Romans mint, obv. cross with three lis and fish each in opposite angles, around FRANCISCVS DEI GRA FRANCOVM R around, rev. XPS VINCIT XPS RENAT XPS IMPERAT G, cross with lis at ends, fish in two angles, (C.1086, L. 650, Dup 788). Very fine and rare.
