Charles James Ruttley served in the fourth (Queensland Imperial Bushmen) contingent which departed 18 May 1900 and returned to Brisbane arriving on 5 August 1901. Entitled to the bars; Cape Colony; Orange Free State; Transvaal & South Africa 1901.
