Gold Regulations, Victoria 1854, Rules and Regulations made by the Lieutenant Governor and Executive Council respecting the issue of Licenses for Mining and other purposes; Gold Mining Regulations, as revised 12th June 1855; Amended Gold Mining Regulations, as ordered by the Council to be printed 28th November, 1855. (3)
The first document was the basic cause of Eureka. The following documents were the result of an extensive enquiry into the miner's grievances following Eureka. The Government was forced to concede the previous regulations were unjust and adopted the 'Miners Right' replacing the 'Gold License'.
