Description

Australia, framed print of the Madonna and Child, the original painting was used for the Christmas 1996 Australian forty cent stamp. The print (342 x 385 mm) signed by the illustrater Vivienne Goodman and a block of four of each denomination in the Christmas 1996 series of three stamps (forty, forty five cent and one dollar) are mounted in a frame (530 x 720 mm).

This framed print and stamps was donated to the Victorian branch of the Salvation Army by Vivienne Goodman in conjunction with Australia Post and is only one of three. Vivienne Goodman is a graduate of the South Australian School of Design.
