2/29th Battalion A.I.F. Canteen token for one cent, No.81. Signed by S.C.Hackney Lieut for Capt Adjt. 2/29 Bn. Fine.
Lieutenant B.C. Hackney was in the epic Battle of Muar in January 1942 and was severely wounded in action. His account of the Massacre at Parit Sulong was used as evidence at the Australian War Crimes Court at Los Negros, June 1950.
