Phoenicia, Tyre, (c.2nd century B.C. - 1st century A.D.), silver shekel or tetradrachm, (13.7 grams), Jerusalem mint, issued A.D. 27-8, obv. laureate head of Melqarth beardless to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, carrying palm, standing on prow of ship, club to left, to left PN**G*/A = 153 (= A.D. 27-8), to right monogram, Phoenician letter between legs, around **[TYPOU IEPAS] KAI ASULOU*, (S.5208, cf.BMC 203, Hendin 919). Heavy scratches, porosity both sides, otherwise good fine.
