Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy II, (285-246 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.13 grams), Gaza mint, issued year 37 = 249-248 B.C., obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt around SWTHROS PTOLEMAIOV, monograms to left GA over AN, to right LX over X, (cf.S.7776, Sv.823, SNG Cop. 459). Good very fine and scarce.
