Italy, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-240 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm, (7.32 grams), obv. head of nymph to right, Artemis-Hecte running to right behind, rev. bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below **P, below exergue [NEOPOLITWN], (cf.S.307, Sambon 473, SNG ANS 365 [same dies], SNG Cop. 431 [same dies]). Small dumpy flan as usual for this issue type, otherwise good fine and a rare symbol.
