Great Exhibition, London, 1851, prize medal in bronze (77mm) by W.Wyon, edge impressed 'Prize medal of the Exhibition A.M.Milligan Class III'.(Eimer 1457). Extremely fine and rare.
This medal was awarded to A.M.Milligan for ships biscuits and is one of 13 awarded to Van Diemens Land (20 in total awarded to Australia). Together with extract from the official 'List of Juries'.
