Coolgardie (Goldfields) brooch, c1899, in gold (15ct; 8.28g; 60x40mm), made by Larard Bros, features a crossed pick axe and shovel with a gold nugget in the centre and a small bucket suspended below it and above is the voided and arched name, COOLGARDIE, pin-back. Extremely fine.
