Ex D.G.L. Worland Collection. Previously Noble Numismatics Sale 66, lot 3294.
A rare and important ambiguous issue with clear references to both Philip and Lysimachus. Thompson, who noted the issue as being modelled on the money of Philip II, attributed the issue to Lysimachia mint between 306/5-301/0 B.C. whereas Price suggested a different mint, an issue of Philip III and an earlier date (as noted above).
