James Anderson Moore, bank manager, born 17.6.1889 at Singleton, NSW; previously served as Captain in Senior Cadets at King's School, Parramatta, NSW; Enl.05May1915 in 18Bn and Appt Lieut; Emb.25Jun1915; KIA 22Aug1915 at Gallipoli; no known grave; commemorated at Hurstville War Memorial, Lone Pine Memorial to the Missing, Singleton Public School Honour Roll, and the Australian War Memorial Roll of Honour.
