Japan, (18th-19th century), Imari vase, blue underglaze with red, orange, and gold overglaze, decorated with lush nature scenes with birds scattered between, zig-zag band around foot, of an ovoid form with a flared lip (45cm tall, 19cm diameter at lip, 23cm diameter at shoulders.
