(Barber's Check), c1920s-1940s, 2/- struck in copper (21mm), die upset 180 degrees (G.-; TMR.-). Mint red, nearly uncirculated.
Said to have been used in Dannevirke c1920s-1940s (haircut & shave). Unlisted in Grant or Roker.
Ex W.H.Lampard Collection, private purchase in 2011 (with his ticket), previously from Kevin Mills (Wellington) in 2002.
