West Gore, handcrafted in gold (15ct, 8.6g, 40x27mm), by W.J.Wesney (Otautau), ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'Presented To/32655/Pte.F.Foulston/19th Refs./By West Gore Residents/On His Return From/The/Great War/1914-1919/19-12-19'; also, United Fire Brigades Association of N Z, Long Service Medal for five years service, in silver (39mm) by A.T. (Anton Teutenberg, Auckland), with (2) 6 Years Service bars (gold, 15ct, scarce), reverse of medal inscribed 'Fireman/Francis Foulston/By The/Gore/Fire Brigade/10-9-11' (D&C.L3). Extremely fine. (2)

32655 Pte Lewis Francis Foulston, 19th Reinforcements, Otago Infantry Battalion, D Company, NZEF, embarked from New Zealand 15 November 1916.
