(New Zealand Farmers' Union), 1910, fob medal, uniface, struck in gold (probably 9ct, 7.9g, 26mm), no maker, reverse inscribed 'N.Z.F.U./Rifle Competition/Won By/O.P.Lynch/Paraparaumu Branch'; fob medal, handcrafted in gold (15ct, 10.3g, 26x26mm), by Freeman (H.J.Freeman, Wellington), reverse inscribed 'Presented by/The Residents of/Paikakariki/In Memory of/O.A.Lynch/N.Z.E.F./1914-1918'; fob medal, handcrafted in gold (9ct, 8.7g, 30x23mm), reverse inscribed 'W.Lynch/Score/92'; fob medal, handcrafted in gold (15ct, 10.3g, 26x26mm), by Freeman, reverse inscribed 'Presented by/The Residents of/Paikakariki/In Memory of/W.N.L.Lynch/N.Z.E.F./1914-1918'. Very fine - extremely fine, all with ring top suspensions. (4)

5/77a Tpr Oscar Avonmore Lynch, Wellington Mounted Rifles, Main Body, embarked from New Zealand 16 October 1914. Died of Disease, Egypt ex Gallipoli, 5/7/15.

Possibly 12422 Pte William Lynch, Wellington Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion. Killed in Action, France, 2 October 1916.
