Kingsdown, fob medal, hand engraved in gold (15ct, 11.3g, 32x32mm), by F.J.D. (F.J.Dunn, Timaru), ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'Presented/To/Pvt William Grey/By/The Residents of Kingsdown/N.Z./On His/Return/From Active Service/1915'. Old scratch (pre inscription) on reverse, otherwise very fine.
6/810 Pte William Grey, Canterbury Infantry Battalion, Main Body, embarked from New Zealand 16 October 1914.
