Allanton, fob medal, handcrafted in gold (9ct, 6.8g, 45x27mm), no maker, ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'The Great War/1914-1918/Presented To/A.D.Taylor/By/Allanton Friends/October 1919'; another, fob medal, handcrafted in gold (9ct, 8.5g, 45x29mm), by D Ltd D (possibly David Benson, Dunedin), ring top suspension and attached to a cloth fob chain (210x20mm) with gold adornments, reverse inscribed 'Presented/To/Pvte A.D.Taylor/By His Friends/on his return from/France/28.7.19'. Extremely fine. (2)
