Canterbury Agricultural Pastoral Association, Founded 1863, struck in gold (probably 15ct or 9ct, 9.1g, 24mm), reverse inscribed 'A.W.Rutherford/For/Champion S.C./Merino Ewe/1907'; another, as last in gold (9.6g, 24mm), reverse inscribed 'A.W.Rutherford Sen/For Champion/Merino Ewe/(Strong Combing)/1915'; another, struck in gold (9.8g, 24mm), reverse inscribed 'A.W.Rutherford Sen/For Champion/Merino Ram/(Strong Combing)/1915'; another, struck in gold (9.5g, 24mm), reverse inscribed 'A.W.Rutherford/For/Champion Merino/Ewe/(Strong Combing) 1916'; another, struck in gold (17.9g, 35mm), by G.Coates & Co. Christchurch, reverse inscribed 'A.W.Rutherford Senr./Half-Bred/Wool & Mutton/Competition/1916'; another, as last, struck in gold (16.9g, 35mm), reverse inscribed 'A.W.Rutherford.Senr./Half Bred Wool & Mutton/Competition/1918'. The first four having no maker's name, these with scroll and ring top suspensions, the last two with no suspensions, very fine - extremely fine. (6)
