(Giles Coates, Christchurch), ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'Awarded To/J.Boag/For/Champion Stallion/"Middle Rigg"/1894'; another, as last, struck in gold (probably 15ct, 16.8g, 35mm), by G.Coates & Co, Christchurch, reverse inscribed 'J.Boag/Champion/Draught Stallion/Black Douglas/Nov 1917'; Ellesmere A & P Assn, inscribed stock medal, in gold (9ct, 8.4g, 26mm), no maker, ring top suspension, obverse inscribed 'Ellesmere/A. & P.
