Timaru Boys High School, Marsh family group of mostly sporting prize medals, c1920s-1940s: seven struck in bronze (26mm), no makers, inscribed on reverse 'Swmg/W.M./100 yds/Sen Champ'; 'W.M./220 Sn Hcp/Put G. Shot'; 'W.M./100 S.Hcp'; 'W.M./440 S.Chmp'; 'W.M./50 25 Prep. Chps./25 Hcp; 'Swmg/W.M./200 Sn. Chmp'; 'W.M./120 Prep. Ch. 100 under 15' [illustrated]; S.C.R.U. (South Canterbury Rugby Union), 1924, half rugby ball shape, in silver and gold (30x18mm), no maker, reverse inscribed '7 A Side/Junior/W.Marsh' [illustrated]; T.B.H.S., hand engraved in gold (9ct, 6.3g, 28mm), no maker, reverse inscribed 'Old Boys Medal/Senior Champ/W.Marsh/1925' [illustrated]; another, in silver (35x30mm), pin-back, obverse inscribed 'Prefect/T.B.H.S./1925'; A.C.R.U. (Ashburton County Rugby Union), Seven-A-Side, struck in silver and gold (30mm), by De Beer (Ashburton), reverse inscribed 'Junior Old Boys/1926/W.Marsh' [illustrated]; also, M.R.U., hand engraved in gold (9ct, 4g, 32mm), no maker, reverse inscribed '7-A-Side/J.Marsh/3.6.32' [illustrated]; N.Z.R.N. (New Zealand Registered Nurse) badge in bronze and enamel (32mm), no maker, with top bar and pin-back suspension, reverse inscribed '12080/F.M.Marsh/1943'; also, the remnants of a blue ribbon containing brass name bars (23x5mm) (7) for 1928, Swimming (2), Football (2), Boxing and Athletics. All with ring top suspensions except where indicated, fine - extremely fine. (20)

Together with four jeweller's cardboard boxes, F.J.Dunn, Stafford St, Timaru (3) and J.McIlroy, Geraldine; also, New Zealand Education Department, Certificate of Proficiency (Standard VI) for Warren Fred Marsh, Timaru High School, dated 23 July 1921.
