(Canterbury Hockey Association), fob medal, handcrafted in silver (35x33mm), no maker, reverse inscribed 'C.H.A./5th Grade/5 A-Side/1916/A.D.Mahoney'; Excelsior AFC (Amateur Football Club), hand engraved fob medal in silver with gold (35x27mm), reverse inscribed 'Excelsior/AFC/Winners of/Humphreys Cup/Season 1922'. Fine; very fine, both with ring top suspensions. (2)
Excelsior and St Albans juniors met in the final for the Humphreys Cup at English Park, Christchurch. Excelsior was the better balanced team and one of the scorers was A.Mahoney.
