Fire brigade, 1941-1978, long service group, plus WWII service medals: Group of Six: Queen's Fire Service Medal 1954 (EIIR); 1939-45 Star; Africa Star; War Medal 1939-45; New Zealand War Service Medal 1939-45; New Zealand Fire Brigades Long Service and Good Conduct Medal 1976 (EIIR) - four clasps. Noel Cecil Glen on the first medal, 24529 N.C.Glen on the second - fifth medals, N.C.Glen on the sixth medal. The first medal impressed, the sixth pantographed, the others unofficially engraved. With matching set of miniature medals on a bar, as worn; also, United Fire Brigades Association of N Z, Long Service Medal for five years service, in silver (39mm) by A.T. (Anton Teutenberg, Auckland), with (9) 2 Years Service bars, reverse inscribed 'Fireman N.C.Glen/by/Auckland M.F.B./13-10-41' (D&C.L3; O&D.115); 25 Years Service Star, in gold (9ct, tot wt 42.4gm, 40mm), no maker, with (9) gold 2 years Service bars, reverse inscribed 'N.C.Glen/5-1-61/Auckland M.F.B.' (O&D.115); Honorary Life Member medal in silver, by D.B., reverse inscribed 'N.C.Glen/Auckland/F/B/30-6-78' (O&D.115); A.F.B. (Auckland Fire Brigade), 25 Years Service Star, in gold (probably 9ct, tot wt 21.4g, 40mm), no maker, with (2) 5 Years Service bars, reverse inscribed 'S/O N.Glen/26.10.62' (O&D.116); Auckland Metropolitan Fire Brigade, Centennial 1874-1974, commemorative medal struck in silver (42mm), bar and red ribbon suspension (M&P.1974/12). Very fine - extremely fine, a unique grouping. (11 single medals and a group of 6 miniatures)

Together with chrome and enamel badges for New Zealand Fire Service (55mm) and (25x23mm) (2 different), Auckland Fire Service (55mm), Kinleith Fire Service (55mm); also, a UFBA Life Member badge in silver & enamel (23x21mm) and a tunic button.
