(Christchurch Volunteer Fire Brigade), c1890s, fob medal, hand engraved in silver (40x35mm), no maker, ring top suspension, obverse inscribed 'Manual Engine/5 Men/1st Prize', reverse inscribed 'Won By/Fireman W.Condon'. Very fine.
Together with (3) uniform buttons; a photo of William Condon in uniform; another, fireman group photo with W.Condon and a photo of the Christchurch Fire Brigade (horse drawn) with W.Condon at left.
