Heraclius, with Heraclius Constantine, (610-41 AD), gold solidus, (4.42g), Constantinople Mint, 1st officina, issued 616-25, obv. draped facing busts of Heraclius with short beard (left), and Heraclius Constantine who is smaller and beardless (right, both wearing corwns surmounted by cross in field above and between, dd NN hERACLIYS ET hERA CONST PP AV, rev. cross potent on three steps, VICTORIA AVGY A around, CONOB in exergue (SB.738, BMC 11, MIB 11-12). Sandy adhesions, graffito on obverse between busts, very fine.
