Countermarked coinage, George III, Bank of England, one shilling sixpence, 1812, countermarked IT within incuse square on bust (S.3772); copper carthweel twopence, 1797, (S.3776), countermarked W.BIGGS twice on obverse and once on reverse; copper cartwheel penny, 1797, (S.3777), countermarked W.PEARSON on both obverse and reverse; another of the same type, countermarked on obverse HW with crown above; copper penny, 1806, (S.3780), countermakred G.R on obverse and reverse. Very fine; very fine; rest poor; countermarks all very fine or better. (5)
