BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom, Diodotos I, (c.255-235 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, 27mm, (16.50 g), posthumous issue struck in the name of Diodotos II, issued 235-225 B.C., Mint B (possibly Baktra), obv. Diademed head right of Diodotos II, rev. Zeus Bremetes advancing left, with thunderbolt, to inner left, crescent above eagle standing left, to left **DIODOTOU* to right **BASILEWS*, (S.7502, Holt Series B, Group 3, Bopearachchi 6E, SNG ANS 91, HGC 12, 21[R]). Toned, nearly very fine, rare.
