PAMPHYLIA, Aspendos, (c.370-330 B.C.), silver stater, (10.84 g), obv. two naked athletes as wrestlers grasping each other by the hands, **DA* between, dotted border, rev. slinger advancing to right about to discharge his sling, triskeles before, behind traces of **[E]ST*FE**DI[IUS]*, all within square dotted border, (cf.S.5396, BMC 37, SNG France 3, 87, SNG Cop.233). Lightly toned, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.

Ex Glendining's London, December 14, 1988 (lot 195 part) with original company lot envelope.
