MACEDON, Kingdom of, Demetrios Poliorketes, (294-288 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.03 g), Pella mint, issued 289-288 B.C., obv. head of Demetrios to right, with diademed, dotted border, rev. Poseidon standing to left, with trident, foot on rock, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **DHMHTRIOU* (S.6764, Newell 90, HGC 3, 1014a [R]). Very fine and rare.
