MACEDON, Sermyle, (c.480-470 B.C.), silver tetrobol (15mm, 2.50 g), obv. helmeted warrior riding right, preparing to cast a spear, dotted border, rev. quadripartite incuse square, (S.-, SNG ANS 726 [same dies], SNG Rosen 110, AMNG III, 2 [p.107] No.4-5, HGC 3.1, 663 [R1]). Lightly toned, good very fine/very fine and very rare.
