THRACE, Serdica, Caracalla, (A.D. 198-217), AE 31, (17.00 g), obv. radiate head to right of Caracalla seen from behind, AVT K MAVPH CEVH ANT**W*NEINOC, rev. river god Oiskos reclining to left, right hand on knee and rests left arm on vase from which water flows, around OV**LPIA*C CEP**D*I, KHC in exergue, (S.-, cf.BMC 5 [P.173], Mouchmov 326, SNG Cop.-, Varbonov 2433 var. [radiate head]). With dark green patina, nearly extremely fine and rare.
